Kate Dawes

Internationally recognised for her work in scalp micropigmentation in Perth, Kate Dawes is also a highly respected Trichologist with more than 30 years of experience in the Australian hair industry. Notably, she is one of only four Trichologists registered with the International Association of Trichologists (IAT) in Western Australia, specialising in both male and female hair loss.

Over the years, Kate has completed extensive training in Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) across Australia and internationally. In 2012, she earned her Diploma of SMP from a leading European industry expert. Later, in January 2017, she travelled to New York City to complete her Master’s training in Scalp Micropigmentation with Matt Iulo of Scalp Micro USA, one of the most respected SMP specialists in the United States.

With deep knowledge of human hair and hair loss, Kate’s three decades of industry experience have firmly established her as a trusted authority in diagnosis and treatment. As a result, she is frequently invited to share her expertise at national and international events. These include the 2019 Olympia Beauty Finishing Touches Boot Camp and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery’s World Congress Live Surgery Workshop in Bangkok.
