What the mockup does is remove guesswork about the design direction, so you and your artist start the treatment plan with the same picture in mind.

We can illustrate the general effect of camouflaging a scar, and it is worth including close-up photos so we can. Bear in mind that scar work is the least predictable part of SMP: scar tissue accepts pigment differently and is usually built up gradually over extra sessions. The mockup gives you a fair sense of the direction, but your artist will set expectations properly at consultation.
