Diane is Foli Sim's Operations Manager. Her role covers client management and the running of both east coast studios, which in practice means she is the person keeping appointments, artists and clients aligned. If your booking runs smoothly, or gets rearranged sensibly when life intervenes, that is generally Diane's work behind the scenes.

No. Diane's speciality is operations management, not treatment. SMP on the east coast is carried out by our artists Kelly Dawes and Dave Ticconi in Melbourne and Natalie Marie in Sydney, and by Kate Dawes, Shannon Over and Tara Scrivener in Perth. Diane's job is to make sure you reach the right artist at the right time.

Although she is based in Melbourne, Diane's role extends to managing the full extent of both Foli Sim east coast studios: North Melbourne at Level 2, Suite 221/55 Flemington Road, and Double Bay in Sydney at 14 Transvaal Avenue. The Perth studio in Fremantle is managed separately from Western Australia.

A large part of her role is helping to balance the busy schedules of our east coast artists, Kelly, Nat and Dave. SMP is delivered over multiple sessions spaced apart, across two cities and three diaries, so the sequencing matters. Diane keeps those sessions in a workable order so your treatment plan progresses as intended.

Yes. Diane is the daughter of Foli Sim's General Manager and founding director, Michael Dawes, and sister to Melbourne SMP artist Kelly Dawes. Foli Sim is family-owned and operated, and Diane joined the business to further pursue her passion for superb customer service in an industry she genuinely cares about.

Diane is based at the Foli Sim Melbourne scalp micropigmentation clinic, Level 2, Suite 221/55 Flemington Road, North Melbourne, Victoria 3051. If you are attending an appointment there, she is often the first person you will meet. Sydney clients deal with her by phone and email rather than in person, since her desk is in Victoria.

She can point you in the right direction. Diane knows the east coast artists' diaries and specialisms, so if you explain what you are after she can suggest who to book with and when they are free. The clinical assessment of what is achievable is done by the artist at your free consultation, which is where the treatment plan is actually decided.
