Alongside husband, Michael Dawes, Kate Dawes is the Founding Director of Foli Sim, and is Leading Senior Practitioner in the Perth studio.
Kate is not only an internationally renowned Scalp Micropigmentation Perth artist, but a highly qualified and respected Trichologist, with over 30 years in the Australian hair industry. Kate is one of only four Trichologists registered with the International Association of Trichologists (IAT) in Western Australia, specialising in male and female hair loss.
Kate has completed a vast amount of training in Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP). She has trained both in Australia and internationally, and in 2012 she received a Diploma of SMP from a leading industry expert in Europe. In January 2017, she went to New York City to complete her Masters in Scalp Micropigmentation with Scalp Micro USA’s Matt Iulo, a highly respected SMP specialist in the USA.
Kate knows the art of human hair and hair loss better than most others, and it’s her 30 plus years of experience in the hair industry that has earned her a reputation as the go-to Trichologist for diagnosis and treatment of hair loss. She has had the honour of presenting at and speaking on numerous Australian and international conferences including 2019’s Olympia Beauty Finishing Touches Boot Camp, and most recently, the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery’s World Congress Live Surgery Workshop in Bangkok.
